KMM Adds TCU Safety Sam Carter to Roster

11 Jan 2015, by Kelli Masters in NFL

KMM Sports is proud to announce the addition of new client Sam Carter, defensive back from Texas Christian University.

Sam Carter is a 6-foot-1, 215 pound safety out of New Orleans, Louisiana. He finished his collegiate career at TCU as a three year starter for the Horned Frogs and a 2-time second team All-Big 12 selection. Carter became known as an aggressive tackler with good ball skills at TCU finishing his career with 175 total tackles and 13 interceptions. Carter’s four interceptions in 2014 were tied for third most in the Big 12. This followed up equally successful 2012 and 2013 seasons where he recorded four and five interceptions, respectively. Carter’s thirteen career interceptions land him at 7th most all-time on the Big 12’s career leaders list. Rivals.com ranked Carter as the nation’s 23rd best dual-threat QB coming out of Alief Hastings High School before he became a mainstay in the Horned Frogs defensive backfield.

Carter is participating this week in the East West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Florida.
