OLYMPIC MEDALISTS SURPRISE 8-YR-OLD TRACK STAR FROM GARY, IN ON “STEVE HARVEY”
Steve Harvey welcomes eight-year-old LAILAH WESBY, a young track star from Gary, IN who lost her mom last year to breast cancer. Lailah’s older brother and track coach BRANDEN WESBY (age 27) also joins the conversation to tell viewers how he and Lailah work together as a team to honor their mom’s memory.
At just eight, Lailah is already running high school caliber race times and has set her sights on being an Olympic runner! Steve Harvey surprised Lailah with three women who set records at this summer’s Olympic Games – BRIANNA ROLLINS, NIA ALI and KRISTI CASTLIN – who swept the 100-Meter Hurdle race during the Rio Olympics, taking Gold, Silver and Bronze!
